Hamburgers on the grill. 3/8/2013 With a recipe

Good Morning. Friday at last.

My coffee this morning is a steaming hot cup of Door County Cherry Creme.

In Wisconsin this past week, especially where I live we were pounded with another snow storm. I am looking forward to some weather that affords me starting my grill and not freezing. At church on Wednesday a group of us met to discuss an event the men will be holding in April. It does involve hamburgers. I will keep you posted on the event. It is April 19th in Greenfield Wisconsin at Faith Bible Church.

But what does a hamburger have to do with a church devotional. Here you go! Do you know what goes good with a hamburger? Two hamburgers. What goes good with two hamburgers? A friend!

God sees fellowship as an important part of life.

1 Peter 1:22
Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart,

We are to spend time with others. God designed to desire the company of others. Have you ever considered a stranger to be a friend you haven't met yet?

Life is short and we are to reach out to others and enjoy their friendship as well as allowing them to enjoy ours.

If you were to be an island God would have made you into an island. So what do you say? Get off your island and invite someone for a burger!

God bless,
Marty
