Good Morning,
I was surprised to wake up and see that my wife Rene had observed the Daylight Savings ritual of turning back the clocks one hour. Does that mean I am enjoying my Door County Turtles In A Cup Coffee earlier or later?
Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
All the clocks were adjusted except for the one that sits on my desk. That clock needs a screwdriver to complete the task. It has to be taken apart and the hands of the clock have to be turned gently to change the time. The old clock was a wedding gift given to us by a coworker. Rene leaves that one for me and it has become kind of a ritual I guess.
Turning back the clocks an hour always makes me think about what I would do differently if I could really turn back time. What day would I stop at when I reached the day and time I would like to have as do over? I think we all would probably struggle with who we wanted to see or talk to again. It's a dream that many folks have. Twice a year. spring and fall has me wondering what day I would return to.
I wake up from my day dream and finish the task and know that I can't turn back time and what I have to do is to face today and make the most of my today. No one can really count on tomorrow as that could be shortened in a heart beat. So today tell those you love that you love them. appreciate what you have. Be a blessing to someone. and give God a huge thank you for yesterday and today.
God bless you all.
Marty
