Good Morning,
My choice of coffee for this day is Door County Maple and I do believe it was just what I needed for this morning.
I will be leaving later this morning on a short duck hunting trip to Iowa. I will be traveling with my hunting buddies and of course one of my dogs. My thoughts are jumbled a little this morning, as it was a busy week. My prayer time takes me to a replay of the week and one friend who was seriously hurt when he fell and one relative who needs prayer because of a surgery that isn't healing up as expected. I assisted with the funeral service for a friend and his family is on my mind. My prayer list is pretty long on this Sunday.
Exodus 31:17 NKJV It is a sign between Me and the Children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.
For me Sundays are the day to recap the week, sort out the prayer list and get ready to go into Monday. I thank God today for how He worked throughout the week on my behalf and for that of my friends and family. It is a day of thanks for all of my blessings.
Sundays are to be a day of rest and as I drive a few hours today, my truck radio will be tuned into a gospel message and then some music to make me feel good. That's what I call having a Sunday Kind of Mind.
My prayer is that you can also enjoy your Sunday and may it be peaceful and quiet and just what you need.
God bless,
Marty
