Good Morning,
I just sat down at the desk with a hot cup of Door County Country Sunrise Coffee and it is time to write.
Last night our neighbor to the South, Donna, my wife Rene and I went to visit our neighbors to the North of us. The neighbors to the North live in an assisted living home and they don't get out too often. The three of us present a monthly Bible study and a short time of fellowship to the residents. Next month is already planned out and it will include a dish of ice cream to go along with our Bible and prayer time.
The funny thing is. I believe the three of us get just as much out of the time spent with our neighbors as they do. As the three of us walked back home we all remarked as to what a good time we had. We go to be a blessing to them and in return we walk away feeling blessed ourselves.
Acts 20:35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Donna, Rene and I are perfect examples of this verse living out in us. Never hold back on giving of yourself to others. The blessing might be all yours to receive.
