Good Morning. I am enjoying a hot cup of Door County Chocolate Cherry Coffee and it is doing a great job of wiping the sleep from my brain.
In the last two weeks I have had to remove the carcass of a rabbit from our property twice now. I do believe that Mr. Rabbit was dining on our foliage and something like a hawk or an owl swooped down for a midnight snack and that was it for Mr. Rabbit.
1 Peter 5-10 Be self controlled and alert. Your enemy the Devil prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing form in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.
That was the last thing you wanted to hear today to start off your week. But the occurrences have left me with a thought. The rabbits were minding their own business and probably so busy eating that they were unaware of the danger from above.
As you start this week just know that the Devil is out there and He is working to trip us up at all times. Be wary of things that sound too good to be true. Keep your credit cards in a safe place. Don't purchase anything over the phone and don't fall for threats of jail because of back taxes. Make sure to coach the elderly as to how to identify scams that are presented over the phone.
