A Mountain To Climb 2/9/2025

 Good Morning,

I will be filling my insulated bottle soon with Hazelnut Crème Coffee, packing my truck and leaving Georgia and going home.

Psalm 121. 1. I will lift up my eyes to the hills. From whence comes my help? 2. My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. 3. He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. 4. Behold He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber or sleep. 5. The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade at you right hand. 6. The sun shall not strike you by day. Nor the moon by night. 7. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil. He shall preserve your soul. 8. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in. From this time forth and forever more.

This long visit with our daughter has to come to an end today. We have had a good time of mending our hearts together. The loss of her son, our grandson, is still a wound that is not completely healed and probably will never be fully healed.

So leaving today and going home is another mountain to climb. I can't do it alone and will rely on my help coming from the Lord. I know friends and family back home are praying for us and I am truly grateful. The day will be long and I will stop and rest when needed. I know the light will be left on for me at home. I am sure my eyes will be leaking when I say see you in June or July and I will call every day.

So the point for today is. When in need of emotional support and strength, Look Up. Help is already there.

Marty
