Good Morning,
The cup of Door County Country Morning Blend Coffee that I filled up a little bit ago is almost gone. It is time to write.
Overnight the temperature dropped enough to give is a blanket of frost on the roof tops and on the ground. It reminds me that despite the affairs of the world, our God is still in control and he blankets us with His love. Today my message will be short and sweet.
It is one thing to be loved. It is another to know you are loved. God proved His love for us when He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our wrongs and provide eternal life for those who place their faith in Him.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
These three passages written above prove God's love for us and are most reassuring to me as I sit in the quiet and thank Him for answered prayers.
Marty
