The World We Created 4/23/2025

 Good Morning,

A hot mug of Door County Churro Coffee is in it's place at my desk and it is time to write.

When I think of the world being created I have to give full credit to God for His work at framing earth and the universes. The splendor and majesty of the mountain ranges as well as the oceans and the depths of things not even explored as of yet belong to God. God has amazed me with the sound of a new born baby crying  and the grizzly bear who shares a stream with men. My list of God's creations could go on and on.

Revelation 4:11 "Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things and by Your will they existed and were created."

But, and I do say but. We too have taken part in the creation of our portion of the world. No no no. We have never actually made anything nor created anything that God didn't give to us first.

We can take credit for the greed in our lives. The dishonesty we practice belongs to us. The laziness we tout as ours was not made by God. The anger and hatred that runs through our heart wasn't there when we took our first breath. When we are unfaithful to our spouses, we own the mess that ensues. The person who takes a grudge to the grave, leaves a  broken heart behind and possibly a load of guilt that someone carries in their portion of their world!

We have the ability to control our "creations" or put and end to them. God never made a mistake when He created the world we see before us. But a lot of the anger, sadness, and frustration we endure, we created for ourselves.

Take time out today and survey the world you created and if it would be better off without something, take it to the trash bin of life, delete the spam, and recreate your world!

Food for thought.

Marty
