Good Morning,
Tuesday has arrived with a plate of GUSTO and will keep me busy all day long. So it is time for a fresh cup of Door County Raspberry Almond Coffee and it is time to write.
Hebrews 4:12 God's word is alive and working and is sharper than a double edged sword. It cuts all the way into us, where the soul and the spirit are joined, to the center of our joints and bones. And it judges the thoughts and feelings in our hearts.
The Bible is no ordinary book. Not a book to be left on the shelf, full of dust. Like a surgeon's scalpel or a butcher's skinning knife, it has the power to slice right through lies to expose the raw truth. It can open a conscience, heal a broken heart, or open eyes that have been blind to God and His existence. It will leave a reader changed.
The Bible is more than written paper or an audio recording. The Bible is fully alive with God's Spirit. Though average men wrote it, God worked through the ordinary and gave us the extraordinary, His thoughts, His commandments, His soothing words and His correction and instructions.
Have you ever thought of the Bible as an invitation to connect and communicate with God in a very personal way? How can anyone refuse this invitation? It is God's invitation to you.
