Good Morning,
I am in Door County Wisconsin enjoying a hot cup of Cherry Creme Coffee in front of the fireplace in our hotel room. Totally quiet and warm inside so I can say I am ready to write.
My wife Rene and I are enjoying some quiet time away. My prayer time does not need to be rushed nor do we have anything pressing to do today except to take in the beautiful scenery and dine on the local treats.
Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 NLT So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. 13.And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor for these are gifts from God.
I don't feel guilty whatsoever about slacking off a little this weekend. It has been a more than busy month for two retired folks.
There is a time made for us to sit back and enjoy the fruit of our labors and it is ok to do so. It will end tomorrow once we arrive home and that it ok. I do have on my mind a special prayer for the arrival of a new baby to our clan coming very very soon. As a sit back and pray I can't help but call this life of mine blessed.
So in a little while Rene and I will forage for a couple of cherry donuts and more coffee and say thank you to God for a great weekend.
