A Good Judge of Character.

 Good Morning,

I just sat down with a hot cup of Door County Blueberry Cobbler Coffee and it is time to write.

Over the years I have watched many people interact with our dogs. I notice that if my dog does not fear a person and let's him or her approach him the relationship has begun.

Psalm 36:6 NKJV Your righteousness is like the great mountains. Your judgements are great deep;

O Lord, You preserve man and beast.

The other thing I took note of is this. If a stranger is accepted by me and the stranger scratches the dog's ears a little bit, my dog will let them in to cuddle some more. I watch for this and take note that a scared wet animal when treated nicely, bonds easily with humans.

I believe dogs can sense acceptance and drop their guard down even with strangers. If a dog feels welcome and safe with their buddy, more than likely you have found a very nice person whom you can trust. Your dogs ar a good judge of character.

Food for thought.

Marty
