I am very content with my seat at my desk and the hot cup of Door County Country Morning Blend Coffee that is steaming next to me.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. 10. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up.
We all in one way or another desire to have friends, or to be friendly ourselves. I have friends who pray for me whenever God leads them to and most of the time I don't even know that they prayed for me. They are faithful with their prayers. Others will pick up the phone or send a text to ask how I am doing.
In praying for a friend, God may lead you to go above and beyond a little bit. I asked in today's title 'What Kind Of Friend Are You"? Are you one with a soft heart for people? Are you willing to ask God what to do for your friends? Can you be stirn with a friend if they need some chastising? Can you be called upon late in the night?
A good friend sees a need and is there without even being asked to do so. They are friendly 24 hours a day. They put others first and do not expect anything in return. So be friendly and let God lead you as to how to be a friend today.
