Advice For A Monday 3/2/2026

 Good Morning,

I am slowly sipping on a hot cup of Door County German Chocolate Cake Coffee and resting as I write.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.

2. A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted.

3. A time to kill, And a time to heal; And a time to break down, And a time to build up;

4. A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;

5.A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;

6. A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away.

7. A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak.

8. A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.

Monday snuck in like a thief in the night and it is here to stay. I experienced a pretty busy weekend the last few days and I am a little bit worn and torn from the time spent outside. I have to say that the three days being as busy as they were showed me one thing. I am no youngster anymore!

My point for today is this my friends. Time slows down for no one. It seems like just yesterday these two legs of mine could hunt for eight hours and go again the next day without too much effort. Now, I hunt for four hours and then I am still sore the next day.  But here is my point, I still try to do my best and enjoy life with the things I do, but mix in some moderation. I am making my goal for the future to still be active and do the things I enjoy as much as possible. I however will not moderate time spent with friends and family and most of all God. I think as my activities in the outdoors may decrease a little, my time with friends, family and God will increase.

It is a win win situation any way you look at it. So heed the warnings your body might be giving you and don't sit in a comfortable chair that begins to attach itself to your rear end. There is time for everything. Sometimes the time needs to be rearranged a little.

God bless,

Marty
