Hungry For Meat. 10/10/2018

Good Morning,

I can hear and smell the Door County Bourbon Pecan Pie brewing in the kitchen. I promised a friend at work that we would drinking some today. Looking forward to it.

Last night was our weekly Men's Bible Study at church. We did not have one seat left and the guys were glued to the study. Each man was there and listening intently. All agreed that this study was what they needed and God was showing them Himself and that was what they wanted.

Spiritual Immaturity

¹² For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. ¹³ For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. ¹⁴ But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

These guys were craving a study that had "Meat" to it. A study that brought them closer to God as they sought to know Him more and more. These fellas desire to grow in knowing God and also apply it to their lives. I believe this study will help them achieve their goal.

Friends, church attendance is important. But in all reality the church service is not enough. The men have dedicated themselves to daily study and I can see some differences in myself and them already in two weeks.

If you are not studying the Word and having it lead you to know God better, you are missing out. There is no time to waste in improving your relationship with God. He desires to reveal Himself to you. When He does that, you learn to love Him more and then want more of Him.

Time for steak my friends!
