Brinner 11/18/2017

Good Morning,

The day is rainy and cold. This is prefect day for a duck hunt with an insulated bottle of Door County Wisconsin Harvest Blend Coffee along for the ride.

Tonight after our Saturday evening church service the attenders will be siting down to Brinner. Affectionately known to all of us as breakfast for dinner. It's not the food that has me smiling in anticipation of the night. The Brinner will be held after we all worship God together and that my friends is the number one reason I am going. Secondly, the Brinner will be an extended time of fellowship with my church family.

When I look at this through spiritual eyes I see us simulating the early times of the Apostles. We will worship, fellowship, and then scatter to our homes. But all will be fed spiritually and physically. I believe French Toast and eggs are always better when you are eating with those you love.
Acts 2:42English Standard Version (ESV)

The Fellowship of the Believers

42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
Hebrews 10:25English Standard Version (ESV)
25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

So don't be a stranger to your church. You are as close to your church family as you choose to be. And if you are in the neighborhood, well just stop in and dine with us.

God bless,

Marty
