Building Up Your Buttercup 11/9/2015

Good Morning,

The old mug is filled with Door County Chocolate Cherry Coffee today. It was a nice weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Yesterday we dedicated to the men and how they need to date correctly. Today we continue with instructions for men. Ladies please share this as much as possible.  This morning we will talk about Building Up Your Buttercup.

1 Thessalonians 5:10-11 New International Version (NIV)
10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

One of the main jobs for men is to build up their spouses, or dates and their daughters. Every time the television comes on our ladies are reminded that they are not one of Victoria's Angels. All day long what the world beats down is our job to build back up. They need to know how you see their beauty when they can't. Our goal should be to reassure them of their importance to us. Besides complimenting them when they get dressed up have you tried saying thank you "for dressing up so nicely today"? How about thank you for the meal. How about telling your daughter just how proud of her you are and say thank you for being your kid.

If you are out in public, hold hands. That tells them and the world that you care.  Ladies let the guys do their job. Accept a compliment graciously and say thank you back. This is all so easy to do, yet we struggle. Scripture is very clear on this.

Well that is enough for now. God Bless,

Marty
