A walk in the Harbor 11/13/13

Good Morning.

I hope your day starts well and ends well. My day has started with a cup of Door County Candy Cane Coffee. Not much left of my holiday coffee stash. I must be the only one around wanting Christmas to hurry.

Last night my wife and I went for a walk along the harbor in our home town. It was just before dusk and there were still lots of water craft out on Lake Michigan. Some people were still swimming and some of the boats returning to shore were displaying their catch of salmon to the onlookers.
During our walk we saw geese, ducks and a bunch of white tail deer. Some were still with the spotted fawns.

The water was beautiful to see. The wildlife and fish were an added surprise. Both of us remarked that God had really put on a display of His creation for us as we walked. Some people go to the theater for a show. And we do enjoy a movie or two. But somehow we just knew that Our God just put on an award winning show for us.

Genesis 1:20-24
20 Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.” 21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23 So the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

24 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

We agree with God,
What we saw was good.
Have a great day.
Marty
