Good Morning,
My cup of Door County Highlander Grog Coffee is cutting right to the bone this morning. I think it is time to write.
James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Last month my wife and I needed to travel to Georgia to attend a life celebration. Owning two dogs and one of them now a senior citizen made for a perplexing situation. Boarding the dogs was a real concern. My brother Jim who helps us out by house sitting and taking care of the dogs was also needed in Georgia.
Recently, Jim announced his engagement to a wonderful person, "Amanda". We are all very happy for them both. Amanda saw our plight and volunteered to have her little dog stay with friends and she came to live at our house with Leo and Gibbs our two Springer Spaniels.
I checked in now and then, not so much to see how the dogs were doing, but to make sure Amanda had all she needed. I really wasn't worried at all. If you knew Amanda you knew your house and your dogs were in good hands.
My point of the day is this. In a crisis God often works in ways that you don't expect and good comes out of the blue. Thank you Amanda for allowing God to let you bless us.
Love Marty and Rene.
